about us

Established in January 1995, Meg Foster Jorn began providing residential architecture & interior design services as a sole proprietorship under the name of Megamorphosis Design. Her objective was to offer clients integrated architectural and interior design services.

In 2006 John Pearcy joined the firm. John significantly contributes to the diversity and quality of projects Megamorphosis delivers. In 2008 John became a partner and the firm incorporated, and the firm’s name was changed to Megamorphosis, Inc.  Following the tragic loss of Meg Jorn in 2017, we continue her legacy of dedication to betterment of the community through thoughtful design.

Chris Sias became a partner in 2018, adding depth and capacity to the firm through his talent for communication and thoughtful design.

Jesse Miller became a partner in December 2019, increasing our firm’s ability to engage communities and serve our clients.

Our steady growth in workload and size has brought us to our current staff of nine dedicated and talented professionals.

Over the past 30 years, Megamorphosis designed over 800 projects and we distinguish ourselves as the most “Award Winning” Architecture firm in the Rio Grande Valley.  We remain committed to environmentally conscious projects with unique solutions and regional sensitivity.

Meg established Megamorphosis Design in 1995. Her goal was to offer integrated comprehensive Architecture and Interior Design services. Megamorphosis’ emphasis has been to create functional spaces which are also unique environments. Programming of the client, meticulous attention to the exterior and interior finish materials, along with attention to detail allows megamorphosis to provide a sense of place, identity and image for our clients.

Meg was involved in all aspects of Megamorphosis’ projects from project development, execution of contracts, client relations and programming, Project Management, Construction Administration.  She greatly enjoyed working closely with clients and consultants to deliver energy efficient projects.

Meg was a force of nature.  Her devotion to design and building relationships with people from all walks of life, will forever inspire those of us fortunate enough to work with and know her.
