Bliss and began construction in 1927 as a hotel on the 2nd floor and a car dealership on the first floor. Built in the mission revival style, the building was the first in Brownsville to provide an indoor parking area. Historic Restoration Group, the new owners of the building, brought on Megamorphosis to design apartments on the second floor and retail and restaurant space on the first floor, while respecting the historic fabric of the building.
